Have you and your family started getting ready for your Hygge Fall? You may be wondering how you can practice Hygge with your friends and family this Fall. In this blog we will share with you some of the Fall plans that the Hyggehaus staff personally have for our own families. We are so excited to see the leaves begin to change, the weather cool down, and to do all things Hygge this Fall season!
To begin with we researched some of the activities that we could do. Our favorites and the ones we have marked on our to do lists are sitting by a fire, taking our kids to a corn maze, apple picking then using some apples to bake while the others we bob for, and of course doing some fun Fall crafts! There are so many activities that you can do as a family during the Fall. Being together is what is most important. It doesn’t have to be a big elaborate activity. Simply sitting outside or even inside by a fire are perfect ways to practice Hygge in your family. Check this pin out for more ideas!
This Fall be sure to capture the wonderful aromas of Fall. My favorite is cinnamon! I love to place cinnamon oil in my oil diffuser and fill my home with the fresh smell. It truly smells like Fall when you walk into my home. Another favorite of the Hyggehaus staff is fresh baked apple pie candles. What better way to start the season than by lighting a candle that smells so good you can almost taste the delicious apple pie.
Most kids love to craft. One craft that we have each decided to do with our kiddos this Fall season is the fun Pinecone craft. Click here to get instructions on how you can do this fun craft with your kids as well. Little E has already been enjoying this craft as you can tell by the photo! ;)
As for Fall decor, cozy blankets and Halloween advents are our favorites! What better way to Hygge than spending each day counting down to Halloween with our littles? Each day they will open up a trick or treat as we count down to the big haunted night of Halloween!
