I can hardly believe that Valentine’s Day is only a couple weeks away! It has truly snuck up on us this year. I wanted to make a quick craft with my son so he could give it to his grandmother, so we used some supplies we had readily on hand. He had a blast making tie-dye hearts and can not wait to make them again. If you are looking for a quick and easy craft for your kids this Valentine’s, here is a fun craft to make!
Supplies:
- Coffee filters
- Markers
- Scissors
- Water
- Paper Towels
To start off, fold the coffee filters in half and cut a heart out of the center.
You will then have your child take the heart and draw round dots all over the heart. We used two colors, but you could use as many as you’d like.
Next, you will take a small amount of water and easily drop over the dots. We used a straw so we wouldn’t get water everywhere. After you have dropped the water on the dots, place the coffee filter between two paper towels allowing them to soak up the water.
Last you will let your filter sit and dry.
