Are you looking for a fun and easy Valentines craft activity for mum/ dad/ grandparents? Check out our loveable kids craft project below to find out more:
My favorite type of craft is a craft that you will be able to look at years later and remember just how small your child once was and see how much they’ve grown. This year for Valentine’s Day I’ve found the most perfect crafts to do for gifts for my children’s grandparents! Here are two crafts that were very fun and easy to do. If you are on a short time schedule these are the perfect crafts for you!
“Thumb-body loves you”
Supplies Needed:
- Construction paper
- Marker
- Paint
- Frame (optional)
All you will need to do is place your child’s thumb into the paint then press on to the construction paper. After the paint has dried you will draw legs, arms, and faces onto the thumbs. On the page you will then write “thumb-body loves you!” We chose to frame this craft since we were giving it as a gift, but this craft would also make a cute card as well.
“From the top of my heart to the tips of my toes”
Supplies Needed:
- 1 or 2 canvases
- Paint
- Marker
For this craft you will place your child’s hands into the paint then firmly press onto the canvas while holding both hands in a V shape pointing down. You will then take one foot, place it into the paint, and firmly press it onto the canvas. When your canvas is dry you will write “from the top of my heart” above or below where you have placed your hands. Next, you will write “to the tips of my toes' ' by your footprint. (tip: I used a hair dryer to dry the paint faster so it wouldn’t run)
My little guys were so happy with their finished homemade gifts! I am positive that their grandmothers are going to love and treasure them for years to come!
Have you done a Valentine’s Day craft with your children yet? We would love to see it! Use the #hyggehauslife to show us your Valentine’s Day crafts.
