It is officially time for Christmas in July!! While some may think this is just a time for good sales, there are actually some families and areas around the world who celebrate Christmas in July! For instance, in Australia July is the coldest month of the year so it feels like the perfect Christmas atmosphere. If you are like my family and you love to celebrate Christmas, have some fun this year and celebrate Christmas in July. No matter what the weather looks like outside, celebrate and have some fun with your family.
You could start by making some gingerbread houses with your littles! This will be such a fun activity to do as a family. Maybe you are like me and always choose to get the premade kit. Here is a fun pop-tart gingerbread house you could try. If you are feeling adventurous and want to go the traditional route. This is a great option. Your kids will enjoy the hands on experience of baking gingerbread as well.
Another fun activity is to let the kids make some Christmas decorations to hang up. Paper snowflakes is one diy project that my kids always enjoy and requires very little effort. White paper and scissors and your kiddos are good to go. (Just be careful and monitor those scissors. If your kids are like mine, they will try to give themselves a haircut! ;) ) If you are feeling really adventurous, string some lights and maybe put out some of your Christmas decorations!
To celebrate this Christmas in July, we are offering a special $25 OFF SALE on our Purple Jewel advent calendar. Use the code: CHRISTMASINJULY to get $25 off!
